Our Story
Our President, John Lewis, started his career in the fitness industry 30+ years ago. As a fitness enthusiast working with big indoor commercial fitness brands like Precor, Hoist, Life Fitness, and Matrix, he had the idea to develop a tamperproof and weatherproof outdoor multigym with the same exercise biomechanics found in indoor fitness equipment.
In 2003 John founded Outdoor-Fit and launched the original Helios Multigym in 2008. Since our inception and the original Helios, John and his team have become innovators and leaders in developing an expansive product line of correctional fitness equipment that correctional administrators across North America trust.
Our World
Our World involves all of the elements that make up our approach to planning and producing innovative correctional exercise equipment to be a leader in what we do. We design, manufacture, and test our correctional fitness equipment through the lens of front-line correctional staff and administrations. This commitment guides us to only produce tamperproof, weatherproof, and safe equipment. This commitment is Our World.
